NTT DATA, together with a consortium of leading companies including Telefónica, TIM Brasil, Red Hat, Hansen Technologies, MATRIXX Software and Nabstract, will present at DTW Ignite 2026 in Copenhagen from 23 to 25 June the second phase of its award-winning Catalyst project focused on the Spatial Web. Recognised with the Moonshot Catalyst Award 2025 in the Interactive Showcase category, this project evolves from the original vision towards real operational monetisation, demonstrating how real-time spatial awareness, AI agents and programmable network capabilities can be transformed into a repeatable, scalable Industry 4.0 operating model, turning the operator's network into the true operating system of the physical world.
The project, led by NTT DATA's Innovative Telco Solutions and Network Engineering teams, implements the Anchors Economy: an architecture that integrates CAMARA APIs, the DSSP protocol and TM Forum Operate APIs — including TMF936 for product catalogue management, TMF937 for usage management and monetisation, and TMF931 for partner onboarding — enabling operators to offer network capabilities as high-value productised services. The architecture also incorporates an LLM-based Perception Agent acting as a real-time operational copilot, validating tasks against procedures and safety rules, and a Spatial Anchors system that transforms physical spaces such as airports and factories into persistent, monetisable digital infrastructure.
At the event, NTT DATA will demonstrate how these technologies enable operators to move from standardised API exposure to productised services with measurable enterprise value, supported by a market estimated at over $31 billion in API monetisation revenues by 2030 and a Spatial Web market exceeding $450 billion in the same timeframe. Key use cases will include maintenance in critical environments using AR glasses, B2B orchestration with cross-company mediation, geofencing applied to spatial layer governance, and value-based adaptive billing — positioning NTT DATA as the architect of the next immersive telco ecosystem.
